Reveal Your Best Skin Ever

CHEMICAL PEEL

Chemical peels are a popular way to achieve smoother, brighter, and younger-looking skin, and it's not hard to understand why. A chemical peel uses a combination of acids to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin, revealing the fresher, more vibrant skin beneath it.

What is it?

A chemical peel is a non-invasive exfoliation method that uses carefully selected acids to remove the top layer of skin. By removing this layer, the cells beneath are stimulated to regenerate, revealing smoother, brighter skin. There are several types of chemical peels available to treat different skin concerns.

Benefits

Chemical peels have a range of benefits that make it a popular choice for those looking to improve their skin. Here are just a few:

1. Reduced Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles: Chemical peels can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, which is why they are often recommended for individuals looking to turn back the clock on their skin.

2. Reduced Acne and Acne Scarring: A peel can help unclog pores, reduces the appearance of acne, and breakouts. It can also help fade the appearance of acne scars left behind by past breakouts.

3. Improved Skin Texture and Tone: The procedure can help improve the overall texture and tone of the skin, making it smoother, brighter, and more even.

4. Enhanced Product Absorption: Removing the outer layer of skin can help skincare products penetrate deeper into the skin, maximizing their effectiveness.

Procedures

The chemical peel procedure varies based on each patient’s different skin concerns and skin tolerance.

1. Consultation: During the initial consultation, I evaluate the patient’s skin concerns, health history, and determine which type of peel is best for them.

2. Preparation: Prior to the treatment, I clean and prepare the skin for the peel. It is recommended to avoid waxing, threading, or shaving to the face at least seventy-two hours before the treatment.

3. Application: Once the skin is prepped, the chemical peel is applied to the skin. The peel typically remains on the skin for a few minutes before being neutralized.

4. Follow-up: After the peel is neutralized, I will apply a calming cream and provide instructions on post-peel care to achieve optimal results.
